In just five weeks, Draw Something has exceeded 30 million downloads and remains the number one application on the App Store.
For those unfamiliar Draw Something, the game lets you choose one of three words to draw it to your gaming comrades. If your companion guess correctly what you drew, then give you some money (for prizes in the game). Then, your partner should draw something and you have to guess what it is. Both will take turns to draw / guess, until you can not guess correctly a drawing. No points. There is no winner. Players must work together because there are no points for either if players choose to sabotage each other.
The game is very entertaining and this is perhaps one of the reasons to which it owes its great popularity in the App Store and Google Play. And again, that's the main reason why the social gaming giant Zynga has acquired OMGPOP, the company that developed Draw Something in the amount of $ 210 million in cash and retention payments employed.
Now that the game is part of Zynga, the company plans to let things continue to operate as they have done so far, only now under the umbrella of Zynga. Instead of simply putting a label on the game Zynga, the company plans to help existing developers to improve some performance issues in Draw Something, find new developers to work on the game, and help the planning staff to existing OMGPOP new games in the future.
If you have not downloaded Draw Something I will say that there are two versions: a free version supported by ads and you can download draw something free version. And there is also download draw something paid version without ads and you can buy for $0.99 or 0.79 euros.
